John Rhodes
As
President,
Principal Architect, and co-founder of ADC Austin, John
Rhodes helps the ADC Austin’s customers turn business requirements
into concrete technology, plans, and approaches. Towards this end,
he leverages his broad experience in both web-based and traditional
software development. Rhodes has a particular interest in the
exploitation of reusable software components and patterns to help
bring software to market faster and cheaper.
Prior to joining ADC Austin, John spent 5 years as a principle architect and consulting manager for Sterling Software (now part of Computer Associates). He was responsible for the design and implementation of enterprise-scale software projects across a variety of industries. Before Sterling Software, Rhodes was a project manager and lead developer for Kraft Foods and Philip Morris of New York.
John holds Microsoft’s MCSE and MCSD certifications, and is a member of the ACM, IEEE, and PMI. He holds a Masters Degree in Information Management from Polytechnic University of New York, and a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science from Texas A&M.
Juan Gonzalez
COO and IBERO-America Sales Manager of ADC Austin, Juan is a key individual on
both operations and sales. Juan holds a B.S. in Industrial and Systems
Engineering from Monterrey Institute of Technology, and an MBA at the
Mays Business School at Texas A&M University. Additionally, he has
graduate studies in Strategic Planning at Harvard University, and has
completed the Entrepreneurial Program sponsored at St. Edwards
University in Austin.
Prior to his MBA studies, he worked at CEMEX, the second largest cement manufacturer in the world. At CEMEX, Juan managed the implementation of IT tools to align all operational activities with CEMEX's global strategies. In 1997, he joined Pulsar International Ventures in Silicon Valley where he had a senior role managing a large investment fund. Juan has proven experience in the management of internationally focused organizations.
Bryan Schwiening
Founder of ADC Austin and Sales and Marketing Manager, Bryan is an experienced integrator for Microsoft and IBM platforms, and a principal architect for the BxP Business to Business Patterns and E-commerce Solutions.
Bryan brings 16 years of experience to ADC Austin. Previously, he managed the midrange services for six states for Sterling Software (now part of Computer Associates) and worked as the enterprise architect building solutions for the NT and AS/400 market. Before Sterling Software, Bryan managed the Dallas SPS Region including ten states for Synon, Inc., increasing revenue to $4 million, as well as leading the team that developed INSYNC, Synon's Software Distribution System with Obsydian for NT.
Prior to Synon, Bryan managed the Class Rings Division IT Department at CBI (formerly CJC Holdings, Inc.) and managed a corporate wide reengineering project developing the Distribution system in Synon's 2E development tool saving the company $1 million in the first year of operation. At EDS, Bryan became a graduate of the Systems Engineer Development Program, and was a Systems Engineer for Buick/Oldsmobile/Cadillac Engineering, following as a Development Supervisor for Manufacturing Systems in the Saturn Car Division.
Bryan holds the American Production and Inventory Control Society's (APICS) CPIM certification in manufacturing disciplines.
